    I don't know why the sticky one got closed, but here is a new one to continue the discussion...

    So is the Brown/Union result irrelevant for SCSU? Moy doesn't make any mention of it here:

      Regarding 2 teams from 1 conference in a regional:
      Even with only 4 WCHA teams in the NCAAs, 2 WCHA teams in 2 regionals and none in the other 2 did not seem uncommon.
      Eastern bias was the cry from WCHA fans. NCAA wanted an East vs West final.

      Using Moy's predictions, Quinnipiac's region would be the only region without a WCHA team. And that's where the 2 ECAC teams are.

      Bottom line--not everybody will be happy.
