Might be watching another goalie stand on his head at the Whitt tonight...Ouillette stoning UNH thus far. Flashes the pad on Willows on a nice feed from Gouams.

Looks like I'm not the only one in IN watching NBC sports. Too bad I'm not in the northern part of the state. It'll still be a heckuva drive to catch hockey east games in South Bend.

UNH carried the bulk of the play in the 1st as Maine had little sustained offensive pressure. Just a terrible breakdown by UNH on the PP with three guys chasing the puck in their own end and no back check which led to an easy feed for the shorthanded goal. Umile was prescient before the game with his thought that special teams would be the key to the game, but obviously wasn't expecting to give up the shorty.

'Cats still have a minute to kill off to start the 2nd and need to keep pounding the net.

In other action, Providence has a 2-0 lead on Lowell with about 6:00 left in 2nd. UVM giving BC all they handle as game is 3-3 with about 6:00 also left in the 2nd.
