The NCHA concludes its final Peters Cup first round games tonight. Whether they take 60 or 65 or 65 + 20, who knows? But they are always fun.
The rest of the conferences are jockeying for conference seedings or, in the case of a few schools (notably Potsdam State and the State University of New York, College @ Brockport) it all comes down to one game. Many Saints will be praying for a Bears victory.
On the NESCAC front, it's pretzelated. Who is where may not be determined until Monday afternoon's makeup contest between Trinity and Bowdoin @ Brooks (insert Shawshank Redemption line here).
For all the seniors who are playing their last collegiate game tonight -- thank you, and good luck on your future endeavors.
For the rest of us, the scores, links, and whatever are here: http://d3hockey.com/seasons/men/2012-13/schedule
So grab your popcorn, pretzel, or whatever your favorite snack is, hoist your favorite beverage and enjoy the day. It promises to be quite a ride.
