stats on canuckscout twitter.....don't know how many games though.....FWIW, Judd Brackett (canuckscout) is brother of Griff, who coached Carlos "Los" Fornais in Fla..... https://***********/search?q=canuckscout&src=typd
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

was kind of hoping with the additions of Z & Milos, SA might start bringing in some bigger forwards.....CH now lists Bourbonnais as 6' 187, other than that.... Of course, recruiting isn't done for the future.

from the Scouting News.... USHL scouts looking for a late developing, up and coming, off the map player from Florida would be well advised to focus their attention on North Broward Prep prospect Carlos Fornaris ...

4'11" and 91 lbs.??? He's obviously grown a lot in the last few years so maybe there's one last growth spurt in his future before (presumably) playing juniors and then proceeding to Troy.

I knew that anything I didn't bother linking someone else would.

Edit: actually I did link this in 626.

That was the last season thread. We don't need mathematical rigor in recruit discussions.

As virtually everyone here knows-I would also prefer a couple of bigger boys up front. 6' and 200 pounds would be nice. But this early, some of these boys will posible get up close to that. Give me a line like Neal-Tinordi-McGowan with some size and lots of tenacity. Don't need every line made up like that-but having 3-5 forwards that size can be very helpful against the bigger ECAC teams.

I wish that were always true. Boy's growth spurts are occurring earlier these days and reaching their maximum height is happening at earlier ages. Lots of theories as to why but no one can say for certain. There is no question though that long bone epiphyses are closing earlier than they did 45-50 years ago when i was in school. There used to be an old theory that to predict a boy's ultimate height-take his exact height at his 2nd birthday. Add 1 inch-then double the total. It was about 85% accurate to within an inch back then. It is not quite as good a predictive calculation any more.
