like this one ... http://www.draftsite.com/nhl/player/parker-reno/19572/..........4th Rd. http://www.draftsite.com/nhl/mock-draft/2013/round4/............ IIRC, this site was very close to where they had Kasdorf going in the draft although they had him going several picks later in the 6th rd. & going to San Jose. Thanks for quoting the wrong post, so that my typos, which have hopefully been corrected now, aren't saved. :p

Thanks for the link. Saw the third and OT. Looked solid on D, but a little passive in the attacking third, much like some of the reports I read on him. Well if my D recruit has to have a weakness, that's the one I want him to have. So long as he's taking care of business in our end, with time he'll learn to be more comfortable in the offensive zone.

I certainly agree with that, although the one he replacing, at least on paper, is "more comfortable in the offensive zone". ;)

BTW, The Edina vs. Duluth East game is being streamed currently at http://www.nscsports.org/page/show/475116-gamecast-tv. After losing their first game of the season, Edina seems to be in a deep funk trailing 3-0. In a 5 minute power play they had zero or maybe one SOG (the announcers weren't sure) and gave up a SHG.

On Thursday, Edina H.S. lost to Duluth East H. S. 4-1. Parker Reno had no points or penalties. http://www.mnhockeyhub.com/game/game_sheet/4542060

Reno's line is now 11-1-10-11-6.

I have to admit that I don't follow this thread very closely until after the Engineer season ends.
However, I do check in to see the stats on occasion.
Today I noticed that two of our recruits Wood and DeVito neither one of which tips the scale at over 165 or reaches heights over 5'10" have accumulated 72 and 63 PIM respectively.
Are these just tough guys, or are they trying to prove something. I know a lot of smaller forwards need to stand up for themselves and some actually are the aggressors by necessity.
Has anyone seen these guys play or do any of you know what circumstances have lead to these lofty PIM?

I am not sure about Wood. I don't think that he has gotten into that many fights. On the other hand this video about DeVito says a lot. :D

As a recent poster said about Melanson, there are a lot of fights in the USHL (but not by DM). http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?101083-RPI-Recruit-Thread-2012-13&p=5579968&viewfull=1#post5579968
