  • Catamount Cup - 12/29-12/30

Looking forward to a swing up to Vermont to check out the Gut, see some quality hockey and hopefully find some Heady Topper beer. I have a Merrimack group going up, does anyone know if the schools have designated sections in which we should look to buy tickets?

Would have been nice to be invited back to defend our crown.

PS - The cup is plastic.

I had my wife bring back a case of Heady when she was up in Vermont this past summer. I'd never tried it before. Its truly amazing, amazing stuff! Enjoy, if you get some!

Call Merrimack and they'll sell you their allotment.

So any particular recommendations for bars/restaurants up there in Burlington that shouldn't be missed? (A good place close by to catch the end of the Pats game Sunday perhaps?)

Highly recommend the Vermont Pub and Brewery http://www.vermontbrewery.com/

Went there in October when Merrimack visited for a two game swing during the infamous Snowtober storm and it was easy to get to and the prices were awesome - I paid $11 for an appetizer, dinner and desert...

Also, I'm told they have beer...
"Get used to this drill, we'll be doing it a lot."
                "Why?"
"Because the legs feed the wolf, gentlemen..."

Though more geared toward Union, these primers on Vermont and Merrimack should be informative for whoever plays them this weekend.
