    You take Janke over Cotnoir?

Janke has had a great start for sure, but Cotnoir has as well,

That was the hardest decision. I had Janke then Cotnoir then changed back to Janke. Tried to base it off this season as much as possible and I think Janke has been better to date

Prez why didn't you include Kyle Thomas and Pier-Olivier Cotnoir since they are both impact players and set up a lot of other guys. The Kyle Thomas GWG against Plattsburgh at a sold out Stafford was one of the best I have seen by a Norwich player. If you ask other coaches I bet the player they key on the most is Kyle.

You haven't seen much hockey then. Kyle's goal was 5-hole. It actually was one I bet Cadieux wants back.

And are you seriously about to discredit Mulvey's season?

Here's a quarter, go buy a clue. Better yet put it towards your Charlie steak fund ya welcher.

I agree with you Prez, it went 5 hole and it wasn't even a clean 5 hole hit the inside of Cadieux's pad on the way through. The rush was good but not something that could be considered the play of the year so far, I thought Thomas's breakaway was a much better play then the one they scored on. I have to say that watching Norwhich play I am sure there have much better goals than that. The only question is did you base your pre season picks based on stats alone?

                  Re: Mid-Season All-Americans

No issue with Broadwater, but not sold on Chewy or Matic...

Matic: Has been great so far, but has only played in 5 games. Three shutouts in five games is impressive, but just not sure the sample size is good enough to warrant an AA. Question: Does a player have had to play in a certain percentage of their team's games to qualify for AA? 50%? 66%?

Chewy: I'm going to take a minute and look through my green and gold glasses and promote Hare over Chewy, but I will back it up with facts. Chewy is only 4-3-1. His tie against Cortland may be worse than his three losses. You can argue that in the four games against the four best teams Platty has played, he is 1-3 (Genny, Norwich, Midd, Oswego), while giving up 8 goals in this 4 games. Not terrible, but AA status?

Hare: Has started all 11 games for Oswego (some might consider being the 'workhorse' a positive attribute, but that is for each individual to decide). Has only given up more than 2 goals once, 4 against Buff State. Yes he was pulled early in the game against Cortland after giving up two goals, but he has been solid for the ten games after that with the exception of that Buff State game. Like Chewy, you can say that Hare is only 2-2 against his four toughest opponents (Utica, Hobart, Platty, Genny).

                  Chewy: 4-3-1 ~ 1.49 GAA ~.945 Save% ~ 2 Shutouts

                  Hare: 8-2 ~ 1.48 GAA ~ .948 Save% ~ 3 Shutouts

                  Thoughts?

Cadieux has given up 8 goals in those 4 losses/ties. Maybe one or two were his fault and perhaps the Genny loss and Cortland tie were on him. But, he's a hair better than Hare !!
