  • ECAC-East

Anyone care to state their season predictions? Is this the year U Mass Boston reaches the top with their forward class? Do the Seniors of Norwich complete a storied four year run? Can Skidmore replace the 3rd team All-American Nick Dupuis and stellar goalie Colin Bessey? Will Castleton play as well in Februrary as they do in November and December? Can Babson reach their potential? Will Southern Maine regroup after their goalie jumped ship? NEC started well and then fizzled, can they replace their graduates and stay focused through the January schedule? Can St. A score while building on their D? Is it time for UNE to make waves? Can St. Michael's Seniors can leave their mark?

UMass will be very good by the end of.the year
Castleton is a non factor in the playoffs
UNE will be better Early with new rink but fade fast
                SMC will be much better

St A's will be good this year. They seem to have a great year every few years and this looks like one of them. They finished strong last year and if i recall they only had 1 senior last year. Agree/disagree?

NU will roll, Castleton will be Castleton it's going to be interesting how the rebound from the beating they took in the final. I think UMB falls in behind those 2 and challenges Castleton for the #2 spot. After that it is wide open as always as to who will make a run. NEC started hot but faded and I think their key is their depth, they need to have a lot of guys with 5,6, 7 goals because I don't see a guy like Niko Uola that can fill the net for them.

                          ECAC E Preseason poll
I would say they got the 2 top teams just about right. It will be interesting to see how Castleton does against Plattsburgh, Oswego, Manhattanvile, and Norwich (all probable top 10 teams) this year.

Top 2 and bottom 2 are correct, as for everyone inbetween and where they fall your guess is as good as mine. All depends who shows up to play every night, those teams all fall into the same category for me.
