There are two issues at hand when it comes to the low scoring:

      1. The guys stand around...a lot...when in the offensive zone. they don't move around at all like they should.
      2. The forwards are very small IMO. Since they're young (lots of freshmen and sophomores) they are getting pushed around by the bigger defenders.

Problem #1 is easier to fix than #2.
      Long live the "Brotherhood"!!!!!

Giving up a home run in Great American Ballpark is kind of like walking into a chocolate factory and yelling "I WANNA BE FAT!!!"

It's going to happen. Just give it time.....and a little effort.

I want to see our crazy talented offense, actually produce, and not have to worry about the nations best defense keeping it tied until the shootout.

                    no doubt.

But just think of how our chances improve if they added the shootout to the NCAA tourney!

I was just thinking about this last night, but any chance Wisconsin comes down to Oxford in the next year or two since we are there this weekend?

Under normal circumstances, yes. But I imagine everyone's schedule went out the window for next year when the whole conference nonsense started.

If anything though that may help since Big Ten will be playing shorter conference schedule as will the NCHC I believe. The only problem I see is Wisconsin not wanting to play many true road non-conference games since they are in the mighty BTHC

That's what I was getting at, unfortunately.

But I am thankful for the BTN tonight, it's been too long since I've seen us in action. We really are at the point where we need to right the ship, some good non-conference wins would go a long way in getting us back on track.

Wisconsin fans pretty sure they are coming to Oxford next year. Will be the most prolific non-conference opponent Miami has played at home since New Hampshire in 2010.
