He's just trying to manuever himself to take over JDubbs position in the Gopher Fan Hierarchy.

I'm ok with JDubbs. He bleeds maroon and gold and he's entitled to his opinion like anyone else here. The kid is misguided at times but he's a fighter.

I am honestly surprised to see UMD ranked that high. I am also surprised to see that the voters did not put Michigan Tech with Home ice.

UMD does have a pretty talented freshmen class coming in, but I agree.

If it makes you feel any better I have UMD finishing 1 point ahead of UAA.

Why would I pick them to finish higher in the WCHA than they'll have total goals?

Goals will be premium for teams in the middle of the league.

12. Alaska-Anchorage [12] - sameNah, for the first time in several years, our top scorers (such as they are) are coming back. There's a new coach with a new system. Teddy Blueger is probably the most promising recruit at MSU since Backes. I'm not expecting a top-half finish, but we'll be better than 11th this year.

I wouldn't be surprised by a top half finish either.

I wouldn't be surprised either. I'd be shocked.
