Rightfully so IMO. I have all the respect in the World for Andy, but he couldn't be more wrong on this one. Justin Kloos isn't even on Minnesota's list.

Pretty much.

If they can't see the 2013 -2014 incoming Gopher class as a clear cut #1 then they have no clue as a website.

He's incapable of being mature. And Andy is a thousand times more credible than he is.

So you agree with his analysis?

Can't say I know much about MN's class for next year, but if it's better than BC's, it would have to be an All-World group, as BC's imcoming class is "on paper" the best I've seen in 25+ years. Cangelosi is arguably the top player in the USHL, Fitzgerald IS the top player in the East and Richardson is arguably the best player (along with Alex Kerfoot) coming out of the BCHL next year. Throw in Santini from the U-18 squad who's a likely NHL first rounder and his teammate Scott Savage, along with Chris Calnan who was a 3rd Rd NHL draft pick this year and you have a class that's pretty hard to beat.

I think when all is said and done it will end up being one of the best classes in Gopher history. They will be bringing in arguably the three top players in the 1995 birth year (according to Chris Peters of USofH and others). Cammarata was the #1 pick in his USHL Futures Drtaft and the USHL Rookie of the year last year as a 16 year old.

Gabe Guertler was the 2nd overall pick in that USHL Futures draft and many think he could end up being an even better college player than Cammarata. He played a big role in Fargo last year. Again, as a 16 year old.

Then you have Hudson Fasching, who many think is the best player in the 1995 birth year. Should be a high first round NHL Draft Pick and is as grounded as he is talented.

This doesn't even include Justin Kloos, who many believe was ready to come in this season, but is playing in Waterloo for a year because Bjugstad is returning. He was the MNHS scoring champion last season, MN Mr Hockey, had (I believe) 11 pts in a single playoff game last season, and has made an immediate impact with Waterloo in the World Club Teams tourney.

Then there is Jake Bischoff, Michael Brodzinski, Vinni Lettieri, and Louie Nanne. Bischoff and Brodzinski are highly touted defensemen that excelled in MNHS hockey and are playing in the USHL this season. Lettieri and Nanne are highly touted forwards that excelled in MNHS hockey and will be playing in the USHL and BCHL this season respectively.

Let me also clarify. I believe another factor that will make this Gopher class extra special is that I believe all the players will be 3-4 year guys. Most will be true freshmen next season. Most are highly talented, but less than prototypical NHL size.

Minnesota, Michigan, and Boston College will all have special classes, but when all is said and done, I think this Gopher class will have the biggest impact in college.

Both classes are very high-end classes, and are each deserving of praise. Right now, it is arguably a 1a-1b type situation. Michigan also has a very strong class for the 2013-2014 season, and they shouldn't be left out of this equation. Ultimately, it will be what these classes do on the ice in their (hopefully) four years that will truly determine which class is the best.

So you agree with his analysis?

He didn't say that, and one does not equal the other. He could agree with you in this once instance but still argue you have much less credibility
