Friday's Globe article was much more troubling than Thursday's.
The writer actually used a journalistic trick. If you re-read the story, she released details in the report that had to be confirmed, because she had the,. Then she took charges that couldn't be confirm, or had no substantiation ... and she brought them up anyway, even though she knew she couldn't get answers.
The parts that could be confirmed were ****ing enough. Then she sensationalized it even further.
If I was her editor and was looking to sell papers, she did well.
If I had wanted her to stick to the facts, she went well beyond the pale.
But, as I said, the facts that she was able to substantiate are more than troubling on their own.
