Pretty sure this post, made on January 3, 2016, when UNO was 14-3-1 and #2 in the pairwise, will go down in USCHO lore as The Curse of Tipsy McStagger.

We brave the cold for tailgates, our friends know not to ask about the game after a tough loss, we laugh, we cry, we BLEED hockey, specifically the maroon'n'gold. Many of us have a tattoo waiting in the wings, WHEN (not IF) the Gophers are champions again.
I apologize to everyone that has been waiting...exam period is almost over (tomorrow). I had a little bit of free time this afternoon so...
Coming in at #42...
Air Force - 6.316 Points
The Falcons went a strong 17-13-7 in 2012-2013, and added nearly one quarter of a point to their total. Unfortunately for Air Force they drop two spots due to Quinnipiac's run, and Princeton's rise thanks to a Yale national title. That being said, Air Force has been on a very good run of late, and if they keep that up, the Falcons are poised to move back up the rankings.
Despite a rough season going 10-16-5, the Tigers gained over 1.5 points, thanks to a storied history with the new national champion Yale Bulldogs. Their improvement was enough to keep them in the #41 spot despite getting leapfrogged by Quinnipiac. The jump may be temporary though if the Tigers don't get back to their winning ways.

Interesting that Princeton is the first ECAC team on here, and that the ECAC is the last of the conferences to have a team on this list...
The ECAC has probably been the most "well-rounded" conference over the past couple of decades. Since the split with Hockey East, 10 of the 12 teams have finished 1st, 9 of the 12 have finished last (or tied for last), and every team has been in the top 2 and 11 of the 12 have finished in the bottom 2 (Only Quinnipiac has avoided that distinction, and of course they've only been in the conference for a handful of years). Consequently, the ECAC teams generally are ranked in the middle of the overall rankings.

"The Greatest Programs of All Times"[!!] Was this written in dead seriousness rather than-tongue-in cheek? It would strike most people as a provincial if not grandiose title.
