Re: Boston University 2011-2012: Part The Sixth
Claver, don't think UND owes BC a game. The second game at Conte in return for a previous trip to Grand Forks was I believe the home opener back in 2007. Muse between the pipes and fog all around.
Hoky hasn't mastered the English language, but if something does happen now, of course...he'll be able to say he was right (again). Never ends!

Maybe he needs, oh, I dont know, another year of juniors????Originally posted by carltonbarrett View PostSo Hokydad, am curious as to why Vecchione hasn't committed anywhere yet? He's currently tied for 77th in scoring in the USHL with a 9-18-27 (-2) line in 44 games. Not exactly great numbers for a 19 year old in that league.Spaulding get your foot off the boat!

Interesting tidbit from Dave Starman (Mr. Jam):
While on the ticket price subject, there are a few NCAA teams with slightly outrageous ticket prices. If you play in a nice arena with modern amenities you have a right to charge a bit more. There are a couple of teams that charge north of $30 for a ticket. That seems a little steep.

Re: Boston University 2011-2012: Part The Sixth
You know, people talk about what rivalry is the biggest in college hockey, but I don't think Minnesota/North Dakota or Michigan/Michigan State, etc. can say that in addition to the schools having such a long standing rivalry, that their coaches have been been actual rivals with each other since HIGH SCHOOL. I think that's pretty cool.

This year in what seems accelerated leavings 18 have left with at least 4 from final four teams ready to leave
Many who left were to burn a year of their contract (krug with Bruins is a good example)
If any of the BU players leave it would be a 2 way with the NHL a distant possibility for next year
