Know it's a Men's forum, but it looks like RIT's Women's squad is finally gonna make the Jump to D1. The CHA(College Hockey America) commish is in Rochester and there's a Women's hockey-related announcement coming tomorrow morning. Somehow i'm putting two and two together here but we'll know for sure tomorrow morning :)

Usually don't check it because a vast majority is just d1 stuff.

BTW, i'll say it and get it over with for the sake of beating the dead horse...

The good news for RIT is that they'll always have this year's national championship. The bad news is that they'll only have this year's national championship.

Big goon still around?

Yes he is. He was at the women's games this weekend and not the men's game at the Blue Cross.

Still got a pretty good set of pipes but he has mellowed in his older age.

RIT to announce move to D-I and joining CHA tomorrow and then late today news comes down that one of the CHA teams, Niagara, is dropping Women's ice hockey.:eek::eek:

Just too sad to even suggest the obvious joke..........:(
