INCH has posted its Top 10 teams in '12-'13 and we didn't make the list.
        http://insidecollegehockey.com/inch/...10for13_teams/

Here's my look at next year using INCH's format plus a little editorial. Looks like our key players are on the blue line or in goal. Our key losses were on offense. 142 points including 60 goals.
Not sure what to expect from the freshman class.

        Key Returnees:
David Makowski* 2-10-12 in 20 games
        Sam Brittain** 2.36 .932
        Jussi Olkinuora 2.18 .924
        Joey LaLeggia 11-27-38
        Scott Mayfield 3-9-12

        Key losses:
Beau Bennett* 4-9-13 in 10 games
        Drew Shore* 22-31-53
        Jason Zucker* 22-24-46
        Luke "Goal Czar" Salazar 12-18-30
Fan favorite--John Ryder led the team with 209 hits

        Need Breakout year:
        Ty Loney 11-10-21
        Daniel Doremus 4-4-8

        Need to score goals:
        Nick Shore 13-28-41--offensive key returnee
        Chris Knowlton 12-7-19
        Shawn Ostrow 11-10-21

        *Key returnees last year
** Key returnee if not injured
        GO DU !!!

A look at Matt Carle's ree agency value.

                7. Matt Carle, Philadelphia Flyers
                2011-12 salary: $3.8 million
Like Garrison, Flyers defenceman Matt Carle should be coveted by teams looking for a puck-moving blue-liner not named Ryan Suter. Carle had three solid seasons in Philadelphia, averaging 37.5 points each year and missing just two games total. He’s not a top-pair rearguard, but he’s effective on both ends of the ice.

Sorry about the wrong day, But I did get to watch 5 or 10 minutes of DU beating UND on Fox Pacific.

Not bad indeed! I wonder who among the college kids skating for the NHL currently makes the most?, Toews?, Zajak?, St. Louis?, Kessel? Any thoughts?

All - I have not been on the boards for some time and I'm not certain there are still any folks on this board that knew my father, but it is with a heavy heart that I let you know he passed away late on Saturday night at home. Behind his family and his religion, he loved DU hockey more than anything in this world. He taught at DU for 40+ years and had season tickets during each of those years. If there is anyone interested in the details of the service, please PM me.
