Red face

Conklin signs with Anaheim on Tuesday and bolts, forcing UNH to start Matt Carney... they go on to lose, 6-1...

UNH loses in OT as PP goes 2 for 2...SHGoals against...Cats are satisfied to cycle the puck in the corner for record 18 minutes then cough up a weak pass to the point leading to a breakaway on Carney who has nodded off in disinterest...

Hey, I am truly interested to see where this kid signs. Given the renaissance of Potvin in LA and the fact that they still have Fiset and Storr (right?), I don't think it would be wise for Ty to sign there. Anaheim sounds like a much more attractive option. He would be their best goalie over Giguere and Shields.

UNH#1, Pruden26 wants LA to sign him so we can watch him in Manchester, the Manchester Monarchs are the LA Kings minor league team. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing the Bruins sign him, Ty and Lord Byron would have a rotating schedule similar to the one Ty and Shawn Matile.

this aught to be a block buster, 2 of the bets teams duking it out in april.

I predict a 5-1 UNH win, but it is haydars efforts in net that win this one.

You look the same as usual, Brit - an over-hyped, over-exposed,plasticized, no-talent tramp exploited by Corporate America. Enjoy the ride while it lasts, sweetie...

A buddy of mine and I talked to a gentleman in the Monarchs organization not too long ago. They do not have a big interest in Conklin coming to Manchester. They feel it would be a little to close to UNH and it would put a fair amount of pressure on him. He cited a kid from Maine as an example. Someone from Maine played in Portland not too long ago and was on the outs pretty quick. Too many Mainer's told him he was too good for the Pirate's and basically felt he should play 60 minutes a game....So the story goes from a Monarchs insider.......

Hey, Gibber, I hate to break the news but Denver's altitude is lower than Colorado Springs. I will concede the point that McNichols Arena was a dump but, be thankful that the DU/UNH game wasn't played at the Coliseum, one of DU's other temporary homes for two years.Look forward to playing at UNH next year and then having UNH in Denver the following year for the Denver Cup along with Clarkson and Miami.

Oh I was kididng 'bout the altitude (thus the ).
Yeah, the Denver Cup will be fun, I had a great trip out there. Will it be at the new arena (Magness?). UNH has some sweet tourneys coming up the next few years (Badger next year, Denver cup the year after, Mariucci after that, and GLI, where we haven't been invited back since we won it in 1969, I think).

I may be going a little off topic with this, but since we were talking about Minor League hockey, the Islanders called former UNHer Jason Krog up from the minors a few days ago. I myself am not a big Islander fan, to be perfectly honest I am not totally sure if they are even in the playoffs, but since they are brining him up I am assuming they are. If indeed they are, what are your feelings (especially Gibber's, I know you were an avid Krog fan when he was in Durham) on how he will fare in an NHL playoff environment?

Cloud, there's a post in alumni section about Krog. he's been up and down all year, and has not seen action this time (two games, two healthy scratches). Islanders have the worst record in the NHL. His contract is done after this year w/ the Isles (thank god)..

As for on topic.... ANy meeting places at lake Placid? I'm planning on something special for attire, but that'll be a suprise
