Post This Week in Atlantic Hockey: Feb. 26, 2009

Showdown This one's been circled on the calendar for quite some time — Air Force travels to RIT this weekend to settle the Atlantic Hockey regular-season title. Interesting question. Maybe I'm missing something but the 6th tiebreaker should never matter. If you are tied in Conference Goal Differential, and tied in Conference Goals Allowed, wouldn't it follow that you are also tied in Conference Goals Scored?

I thought the exact same thing and immediately came down here to ask the same question.

And what comes after those tiebreakers, out of curiosity?

First off, Come on Lerchie I knew you were going to wimp out and do the politically correct thing and pick a spilt this weekend, thanks for assuring that won't happen

As for the tiebreaker, I think they are just getting desperate when they get that far, probably would have to use a coin flip to decide that one. Or maybe we could just go with which coach has the hotter daughter, we be in good shape in that sense....

Man am I in trouble now
