Post This Week in the CCHA: Jan. 8, 2009

Back to School As the second half of the regular season begins, there is one undeniable truth: the top four teams in the CCHA are from states other than Michigan — some very far away from Michigan. With all due respect to the teams in my new home state, this continued non-Michigan dominance of the league tickles me. Imagine the possibilities: Alaska and Nebraska get first-round byes. Paula, we at NMU know that you have an infactuation with John Kyle but did you have to give a promotion to head coach all on your own...

Also, NMU was down 5-2 and rallied for 3 goals to tie it and not down 5-3 rallying for 3 goals to tie it...

Consider me the grammar police or editor and we're all in trouble...

Nice article otherwise, it is nice to see The State of Michigan rubbing off of on you...now get your sorry behind back to da U.P. eh!!!

You won't have to worry about Farmington Hills crying. When it comes to the playoffs, there will be some focused refereeing that will help shape the miracle comeback of MSU or UM if they don't host. The CCHA Tournament at the JLA without UM and/or MSU will not be tolerated for the benefit of people keeping their jobs at the league office.

UM will finish in the top four with OSU, UNO and Alaska fighting for the 4th top stop.

In their streak, the Buckeyes have had some quality wins including a weekend sweep of UNO.
