Re: Rookie Watch

I have had the absolute pleasure of watching the Michigan freshman class mature over the season from my front row, blue line seats. Your comments are pretty much spot on.

One thing I would like to add however is about Carl Hagelin. Not only does he have great speed but his hands are absolutely incredible. I used to refer to Brendan Morrison as "The Magician" for what he could do with the puck. Hagelin is better in this area as a freshman the Brendan was as a junior. His ability to change direction isn't too shabby either.

I still like Palushaj for team Rookie of the year but Pacioretty would not be a surprise. Vaughn might be the Most Improved over the season.

If these guys all stay around for four years, the future looks incredible.

Re: Rookie Watch

Wow, a column on rookies in the NCAA Tournament that fails to mention the top two scoring rookies in the country. Wow. Swing and a miss. Better luck next time.

Re: Rookie Watch

Wow seriously, how in the world do you talk about that many rookies and completely fail to even mention Joe Whitney and Garrett Roe, two freshmen that scored more points that some hobey baker candidates. Terrible article.

Re: Rookie Watch

Ha what a joke of an article, how can you leave out the 2 freshman with the most points on the year. Roe has made multiple people fall with his puck handling skills.
