Post This Week in Atlantic Hockey: Feb. 28, 2008

Re: This Week in Atlantic Hockey: Feb. 28, 2008

Not as convoluted a mess as the ECAC tiebreakers, but impressive nonetheless. Question on tiebreakers 4 through 6:

4. Goal differential
5. Goals allowed
6. Goals scored

These presumably apply to league competition only, since it wouldn't make sense to throw non-league games into the mix. That being the case, if two teams have the same goal differential (goals scored minus goals allowed), and they've allowed the same number of goals, then would they not have also scored the same number of goals?

Yes, it is just league games that are included. And yes, the sixth criteria makes no sense to me, either.
