MCHA league play kicked off last weekend and two game sweeps were the top order of business. While Northland was idle, Adrian made its MCHA debut with a home sweep of Lawrence, while MSOE accomplished the same over Crookston. Concordiaâ??s opening weekend wasnâ??t quite as successful as they dropped two at home to Finlandia. Marian also was in action but the Sabres were unable to come away with ...

Re: This Week in the NCHA/MCHA

Common mistake, but it's actually the Mackinac Bridge. Named after the strait that it crosses, rather than the nearby Mackinaw City, MI. It's prounounced "aw", regardless of the spelling...It was originally named by the French.

Did Adrian actually drive to Finlandia? or did they fly into Houghton from DTW? That's a helluva drive!

You're killing me RJ.

I actually knew that but apparently never went back and corrected it. Ah well...

Good pickup, though

Re: This Week in the NCHA/MCHA

I am pretty sure the two Superior D-men you are talking about are Josh Seifert, and Jeff Herman... not Jeff Seifert, and Josh Herman....
And at the time of writting the Jackets actually lead the NCHA race by one, not behind by one.... perhaps you are insinuating a prediction by stating that :S
But otherwise a very flattering article about the Jackets... I wonder why you didn't say anything about coaching
