Michigan looks much faster to me in the first period. They just seem to have that extra "giddy-up" as Wooger likes to say.
GO GOPHS!!!

nothing after 1... still 1-0 Michigan and the Wolverines will still have :48 seconds left on their PP to start the second.

Please do. I am off at 7:30 Eastern, and congrats to the wildcats on their win today. I was rooting for Cornell but UNH played a really good game.

1-0 Michigan
That is one of the ugliest periods I have seen Minnesota play in a long time. Hope somebody in the locker room lights a fire under somebody.
Weber has been outstanding so far.

Michigan dominated the Gophers in the first. Score could have been as much as 3-0, but Webber had some solid saves to keep UM out of the net more than once. Lots of time left.

Well neither team looked real good the first period, but Minnesota looked awful I didn't see them connect on one pass

Well, from the first period alone it looked like the gopher goaltending and offense switched. Weber IS the only reason it isnt 2 or 3 to nothing. Lots of hockey left, not very worried for the gophs have turned 3 or 4 goal deficits around before. Michigan looked pretty **** good, better that Ferris State thats for sure.

I'll go till then... someone needs to take over for me at that point
As far as rooting for Cornell... I'll just have to forgive you... actually since I can't go and my friends dogged me on the trip out to Buffalo, I wouldn't have really cared if Cornell advanced... but since were in the title game... I gotta route HARD for my beloved alma mater regardless.
Cheers... see ya in 20
