The point I was making in the earlier post is that UNH can't count on picking up this kind of high end recruit after they have "de-committed" from another program late in the recruiting year. If past performance is any indicator, UNH will continue to pursue these opportunities when they come up in the future. However, these type of late "decommits" are more likely to end up choosing BU, BC, Notre Dame, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota or Denver.

Last week, incoming UNH freshmen Shane Eiserman and Warren Foegele participated in the 2014 NHL Combine held in Toronto. 119 draft prospects were invited.

Shane Eiserman finished 2nd in the bench press test.

Warren Foegele finished 5th in standing long jump and 9th in the vertex vertical jump.

I guess that means that on the rush he doesn't need to stop in front of the net. He can simply jump over it to beat the D to the puck

Or he has a promising future in figure skating.

Maybe after next weekend, UNH will have another NHL draft pick on their team?

                        Or, maybe three?

                        Thanks for the links, Mike.

Interesting comment from the Dubuque coach that sounds a bit like an indictment of the USNTDP: "He needed to learn the game."

This has been an exciting day for these two and even more exciting for our Wildcats! I think they will make an immediate impact to our offense which is really going to miss the scoring power from the graduating Seniors. Looking forward to seeing their game on our big sheet!
