4-1 Mn
That's the difference between MINN and UAA, a Mn player CAN score with a UAA guy hanging all over him. sigh

I would absolutely agree about the lack of emotion and intensity with this team. I'm uneasy pointing fingers without being out there and actually knowing who is not doing their job. Could be Shyiak, could be the upperclassmen. But they've shown that they can play with the strong teams but without the emotion, theres no point.

Playing with a top notch team one out of 4 games is tough to stomach. These guys have the opportunity to play the bet competition week in and week out and they look like they could care a less. Something needs to change, and in a hurry.

They do have the opportunity and they've shown that they can when their actually interested in doing so. Yet it doesn't seem like they have any heart into it most of the time.

As a fan, it's like a punch in the gut to watch the team you support, put forth such a heartless effort more often than not. Something has to give.

I had UAA as a possible dark horse this season. If they don't get that leadership, it won't happen. That's what killed my (similarly upperclassmen-laden) Huskies the year after we made the F5.
Hopefully Shyiak can wake the seniors up. I'd love to see UAA make some noise.

Its horribly frustrating! Countless people have said that this UAA team in particular could be the first one in a while to finally show some improvement. But without any heart in the game its completely worthless!

Couldn't have said it better! I've had season tickets to UAA games since the program's heyday when the sully was often packed and the team was winning. What a distant memory now and without any change that won't be happening again anytime soon.

Kangas played very well on the first shots. That made all the difference in the world.
