    I've posted this before which is a pretty good look at why you can't be both:

          Seems to me that the real #WalkAway movement in the past decade has been from the Republicans. At least among the educated.

                Re: What's on your ballot?

                Here in Mass we have;

                - Nurse to patient ratio requirements
                - Definition of a corporation for campaign finance
                - LGBT rights

                The LGBT question will be interesting as differing from the norm a “yes” vote maintains the status quo and does not get rid of rights. Hoping that does not create confusion as a “no” vote typically maintains the status quo for most ballot measures.

                  The definition of a corporation could be an interesting debate. Could we write out Citzens United by defining what a corporation is?

                      Last poll I saw was 55/41 in favor, with only 4% undecided. I doubt this will make much of a difference.

                      More concerning is that in the same poll, the proposal to establish an independent commission to redraw the congressional districts in 2020 was ahead 48-32, but ballot initiatives require 50% to pass.

                        There wasn't a "I don't care" third option on my ballot that I mailed in last week so they'd have to break 90% toward no for it to fail.

                          That is a SCOTUS decision. The personhood of a corporation has a long tradition in our Republic.

                              A corporation is a creature of the state. States can regulate them out of existence if they wanted to.

                                Certain states treat abstentions on initiatives as no votes.
