There is major work that needs to be done after he is out of office and if people focus too much on him it will never get done.
Are you equating the stewardship of GWB with that of Clinton and Obama?

No. A lot of our problems, at least financially, have to do with congress. The president only has so much power, and much like a coach gets way too much credit both ways so does a president. Our country has completely gone off the rails this century and it’s a lot more complicated than blaming one or even a handful of people. Society in general deserves a lot of blame for not paying attention and being disengaged.

BC presided over that, but many argue that it was effectively dead already. Clinton also presided over some very damaging crime legislation, IMO.

The "Three Strikes" was Clinton, IIRC. That backfired hardcore.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

A lot of bad foreign policy decisions have been made under pressure of fake patriotism, and a lot of bad domestic policy decisions have been made in the name of ''Fighting crime."

It was a good idea in theory, but smaller crimes ended up putting people in prison, whereas they might have been better off going through probation/rehab/whatever, depending on that crime. There's a good documentary on Netflix about it, I'll see if I can find the info for it...

"13th" is the documentary, and it's not all about the 3 Strikes law; it's more in-depth about the racial inequality of the US prison system; it DOES cover the 3 Strikes, and how that continued that inequality.

And yet, you continue to support the party that votes for tax cuts and profligate spending, over the party of profligate spending and income sources to pay for it.

Many of the Sunday shows are featuring video of John Boehner criticizing Republicans for being asleep and saying there's only a Trump party. Another guy out of office whose grown a backbone. (Or maybe it was the Bloody Mary). Let's not forget that as speaker, given a chance on 60 Minutes to debunk Trump's birther BS, he instead waffled that it's not his job to tell Americans what to think. Also, in 2013 after an immigration reform bill passed the Senate with 68 votes, he refused to bring the bill to the House for a vote, knuckling under to the Tea Party Caucus. Two glaring incidents in a future chapter on Boehner in "Profiles in Cowardice."

I'm sure they can interest some of the 53% of white, female Trumpsters looking for an abusive relationship.

                              Sounds great, Rudy.

“President Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani repeated his claim that a sitting president cannot be indicted, saying that even if Trump "shot" former FBI Director James Comey, he could not be indicted.”

trump's approval by his own party 500 days into his term is second only to W's.

I would also guess that the 13% who don't approve are disapproving along the lines of trump not being quite racist enough. The 2018 version of a typical republican is just about the dumbest dumb fvck that has ever polluted this nation. It's really too bad they aren't all 95 years old because the sooner they die, the better off we'd be.
