    LOL.

I dare you to read the following quote without a cartoon French accent:

Estanguet also had some thoughts for esports skeptics out there: “We have to look at it because we can’t say, ‘It’s not us. It’s not about Olympics.’ The youth, yes they are interested in esport and this kind of thing. Let’s look at it. Let’s meet them. Let’s try if we can find some bridges.”

It's the IOC, they'll find a way to get you to build new crap you don't need.

The IOC wants to pretend that the Olympics can be a money maker and a economic boom to an area that is in a depressed area.

Which leads to a lot of dirty money and a lot of mad people. FIFA does the same thing.

IMHO, that has been figured out, and now LA and Paris get it. The most expensive stuff is already in place.

Is the Rose Bowl too small a venue???

No they won't. That's the whole point of the LA bid. I'm as cynical as the next guy. But in this case, LA will do it right.

And besides, they need Paris and LA to do well so they can convince other cities to restart the gravy train. This is the hustler losing a couple of games to draw in new suckers.

Makes sense. Tokyo, Paris, and LA should all do fine. So...Bogotá 2032?

Only if they can out-bribe the Ouagadougou 2032 campaign.
