I feel sorry for the Berkeley athletes. They'll probably hold some events in the Coliseum, and as we know Cal can't win there.

I knew SLC was thinking about another bid. Their airport rebuild & expansion will be done by then, too. However, it seems unlikely to me that they would award both games to US cities back-to-back like that.Comment

I don't think that matters so much. '96 and '02 were close together. '80 and '84 were consecutive. On the flip side the IOC is trying to spread it around and with '28 the US has 9 games with France being next with 6.
