Also, forgot to mention Cameron Schilling scored his first professional goal last night for the Hershey Bears in a game they ended up winning in overtime to save them from elimination. Ended the game with 1 G, +2, and 0 PIMs (impressive since he was averaging a penalty a game in the final 7 games of regular season)

In the following seasons after all the realignment takes place it'd be nice to get the three Ohio DI hockey schools (Miami, Bowling Green, and Ohio State) together for a holiday tournament. Those three teams plus a random fourth team, maybe from an eastern conf like Hockey East or the ECAC could be a fun tourney in a few years.

Didn't work out so well the first time (sans BG as a regular participant), but I would be all for it.

It might work better once the three Ohio schools are in separate conferences. It adds a bit of spice to the Non-con schedules, also keeps some regional/in-state rivalries. With BG and OSU on the rise and Miami a perennial power it could be a very entertaining tournament.

Cameron Schilling does it again, scoring the first goal in the Hershey Bears 4-1 victory last night to even the series with the Wilkes-Barre Penguins 2-2.

                  Blah.

Think we saw this coming when he didn't sign a LOI for this season. Wasn't finished with high school and didn't want to spend a season in the U.

Do you think someone further down the recruit board gets bumped up? Or will we bring in another Paulides-type filler?

                          BIGGS?

                          2013
Fredrickson (F) (21 year old frosh, yay?)
                          Siroky (F)
                          M. Joyaux (D)
                          Hamilton (D)

Belpedio is the only other guy on the board, and is only a 96', so they will have to find someone new to fill the spot(s). This stings, no doubt about it, but Barber or Sieloff jumping ship this summer would be much, much worse. In that case we will have to scrounge up another Bingham type player just to fill out the roster.

I did notice a tweet from Biggs about buying himself a house warming gift ("Friends" DVD's, mighty white of him ), so I guess things are looking good for at least one more year in Oxford. Are sophmores allowed to live off campus again?

No, but I'm pretty sure I overheard Coleman talking about how he was living with some of his hockey-classmates in Heritage, that's kinda like a house for sophomores I guess (this is all assuming Biggs is included in that statement, or maybe he found some other loophole)...

                                Sounds like a great plan.
