Wow! I don't think anyone had the Mustangs beating the Ice knights tonight! I geuss its not an upset since The Knights aren't ranked but i'm sure it feels like that to Morrisville.Good Job Mustangs,you deserve it!

You can not count out the Little Ponies at any point. Geneseo had an "Ice Knights beat cancer" promotion (or something to that effect) with donations tied to the number of Geneseo goals scored tonight. You have to wonder if the team was as mentally tough as they needed to be for a "cupcake" game.
If there's been any trend for the last 5 years or so of Geneseo teams, it's playing to the level of their competition, both good and bad. And with Gershon getting pulled halfway through the game, it's clear Coach Schultz loves his goaltender controversies. Makes you wonder if all the switching around is undermining his players' confidence.

Webb, remember how things work in his world:
Utica > Elmira/Hobart/Manhattanville/Neumann = Plattsburgh/Oswego > Any unranked SUNYAC team except M'ville > Morrisville > Lebanon Valley > "Wait, there teams outside those conferences?"

Well...no, they aren't. In fact, the tightening up of Plattsburgh shot totals at home during the stretch and SUNYAC playoffs last year (after a season where they allowed unusually few shots both home and away) was one of the things that made me antsy going into the Neumann game.
In any case, congratulations to the Lakers on finally snapping the skid versus Plattsburgh. Frankly, there had been too many close calls over the Cards' run for this to go on much longer. And I guess if there are a couple of positives here for Plattsburgh, they at least know that a) they can put the puck on the net (if not in it), and b) if they're going to lose to Oswego, this is the time of season to do it.
