Looks like he had:
3 shots and 10:48 ice time on the 8th vs Edmonton
5 shots and 12:17 ice time on the 9th vs Phoenix
Then got sent back to Iowa on the 10th
Its NHL Ice time and always a good start. Lets hope He'll be back up there soon!

Re: Tech Alums
Sorry I didn't get to this last night, was actually watching the replay of the game.
Chris Connor was a real late call up. Apparently he arrived at the arena just before the warm. He was not on any of the media infromation sheets and was not on the rosters that were handed out at the game. Which made it very interesting watching the game because the announcers (who are very good) were trying to fill "space" after Chris scored, because they had no infromation on him. They finally got some info and mentioned twice that he graduated from Tech and put up some good numbers during four good seasons at Tech. They first said that his goal was a great Christmas present, first goal in his first NHL game and just days after his birthday. They later corrected after they got info that it was his third game, but were impressed with his play. After the goal and they got the info the were calling him by name when he was on the ice and was in the play.
In about the first minute of the game Chris drew a penalty that led to the first Dallas goal. He tied the game at about the 18 minute mark when he put a rebound in from the left side. Stu Barnes bobbled the puck when he was picking it up after the goal. Apparently he didn't give it to Chris after the game, based on a comment by Chris on the Dallas website. But I'm sure they are doing something with it and will give it to Chris later.
Chris also got his first NHL penalty in the second period for tripping. He was just going for the puck, but did take the skate out from under Ossi and they both slide into the boards.
Chris had the puck on a two on one in the third period, but the shot and/or pass was broken up by a very good defensive move.
I thought he played well since he was a late call up and didn't get to practice. Was cautious but aggressive in his play, thought he had a very good.
Radio also mentioned that he was from Tech.
TV guys said later that Dallas thought he was a "sparkplug" player and appeared to be impressed with him and that Dallas may see more of him this year.
Morrow, Madono, Lindros, Ott and Barneby were all scratches for the game.
Dallas my have only been playing with 18 players which was why Chris was called up.
Offical stats
1 shot on goal (the goal) (was his ninth toal shot on goal in three games)
1 minor penalty for tripping
23 shifts.
13:41 on ice time.
Now I have to figure out how to get Chris to sign my ticket from the game.

Re: Tech Alums
STARS SIGN ONE, LOSE ONE
Next Game on Fri., Mar. 23rd vs. Chicago – 7 PM
DES MOINES, IA – Iowa Stars Director of Hockey Operations Scott White announced this morning that the Dallas Stars have reassigned Left Wing John Lammers to their ECHL affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads. White also announced that the Iowa Stars have signed Defenseman Lars Helminen (HELL-mih-nehn) to an Amateur Tryout Contract (ATO).
Drafted by the Dallas Stars with their fifth choice, 86th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Lammers has appeared in 52 games for the Iowa Stars this season. The 5-11, 185-pound winger has notched six goals, eight assists and 14 penalty minutes: 52(6/8/14)14. The former Captain of Team Canada’s World Under-18 Team registered his first professional goal on October 22nd against the Syracuse Crunch.
He will join Idaho for their home game against the Alaska Aces tonight.
The 22-year old Helminen joins the Iowa Stars after completing his four-year career at Michigan Tech University. The West Palm Beach, Florida native finished his senior season as the team’s third leading scorer with 21 points in 40 games: 40(2/19/21). Included in those 21 points was a team-best nine points on the power-play. The former Co-Captain was twice selected as the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) Defensive Player of the Week and was selected to partake in the 2007 NCAA Frozen Four Skills Challenge prior to signing with Iowa.
The 5-7, 180-pound Defenseman leaves MTU as the school’s 10th leading scoring blueliner. He was named to the All-WCHA Academic Team three times and was an All-WCHA Second Team selection in 2004-05.
His older brother Dwight is a Center with the Connecticut-based Hartford Wolf Pack (AHL).
