I had totally blocked that out from my memory, and it doesn't look like it was even a full sized squad numbers wise, maybe 5 or 6 at most...

That's a piece of RIT hockey history I'd just as soon forget.

Hoping for 1 more NCAA DIII hockey event at the Ritter....
UWS has cheerleaders at all the men's games...I recall them attending a handful of women's games in the 4.5 years I was there.

No one answered the question about the RIT webcast.

I'm not sure about video, but there will be a radio broadcast at pirateradio.rit.edu.

Does the NCAA not do webcasts for the quarterfinal games?

It's looking like just side arm stats and online radio for the game.

Agreed on the timeline. I left in '90, and they were at quite a few games towards the end of my time there.

            "Hey Corner Crew!"
            "Hey What?"
            "Hey Corner Crew!"
            "Hey What?"
"Show us how you get down!"
            "OK!"
"Let me see you get down!"...

Yeah, that still haunts me to this day. Although as I recall, a certain "Jolie" did make their presence worth the pain. (Who remembers the "Distorter" edition with the 'nice watch'?)

Now, not to disrespect the current Cheer squad, but I gotta say in comparing the on-line rosters, the aesthetic appeal of the RIT Women's Hockey team is significantly greater than the Cheerleading squad.

My first RIT game at the Ritter was probably around 95ish. So it had to be around that time. I think I only remember them being at one or two.

it is pretty lame that RIT isn't webcasting this game....I see they are doing the men's game tonight...would it have been that hard to do the women's game too?

Norwich and Amherst are about 11 minutes away from dropping the puck at Kreitzberg.

You can view live video of the game at: www.nsnsports.net/norwich

Murphy in goal for Amherst and Fisk in goal for Norwich.
