          I really don't understand that punt. Is he just not able to kick far? That was 33 yards. Awful.

            This is a big drive. Tigers' D needs to come up with a stop and keep this within a score heading into halftime. Clemson gets the ball to start the 2nd half.

                Yeah, that's about what he does. I'm pretty sure he averages less than 40/punt.

                  If it's intentional it's trying to avoid the runback (which is dumb, just angle it and get 40 and out of bounds). I remember seeing a game where the only punter available broke a toe and kicked the rest of the game with the side of his foot. It looked like that -- squib grounders, going maybe 25-30 yards. It was suboptimal.
