    Morning.

    I have an old NFL ad stuck in my brain. Forget what they were hawking. They are doing a fantasy draft and the guy drafts "T.J. Houshamazilli" because he cant pronounce the players name.

      Good morning Lodge. No update on my cousin in Florida. I did, however, hear from cousin P, who I had called last Monday. We talked for about an hour on Friday. I’m glad we connected. We discussed maybe heading down there this week.

      Then five minutes after we hung up, my friend texted to tell me one of my parents’ oldest friends, and my brother’s godfather, had a massive stroke early Friday. His daughter is one of my oldest friends. He quietly passed yesterday. I’m so sad. I had to tell my parents. Waiting on arrangements, which will be this week.

      On a positive note, it’s a lovely day here in 617-ville today.

        Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

                All this. Only a 9 hour day today. Had to borrow 2 counter sales people, and an office worker that used to work with our shift to get things done. Just got hammered. Even fully staffed, we would have been buried in work.

                4 days to go.

                  Good evening Lodge!

                  Back from the lake after a week. After showering at camp with a tin shower and variable temperature control my shower today felt amazing.

                    Grilled ALL the chicken this evening. I've got chicken for the next week.

                    Applied for a job last week, about a mile from my house. I checked their site today only to not see the job listed. I don't think I'm going to get a call on this one.

                    There's two more I'm looking at. One in Toledo, one in Ann Arbor. Same company. Let's see how this goes.

                    Boss is back at the office tomorrow. I may need my shovel.
