Interesting read. There isn't much of a conclusion other than, "don't jump to conclusions," but I think it's still worth a read."It's as if the Drumpf Administration is made up of the worst and unfunny parts of the Cleveland Browns, Washington Generals, and the alien Mon-Stars from Space Jam."

Re: The States. It's 10th Amendment or bust!
Evidently they still have spines in Montana.
Greg Gianforte, Montana’s Republican candidate for U.S. Congress, is facing misdemeanor assault charges after he attacked Ben Jacobs, a reporter for The Guardian. There is horrifying audio of the attack and three Fox News reporters described seeing Gianforte grab Jacobs by the neck with both hands, body slamming him to the ground and then punching him in the face.
Overnight, Montana’s three largest newspapers rescinded their endorsements of Gianforte, all offering hard-hitting op-eds.
Although we're greatly troubled by this action against a member of the media who was just doing his job, to make this an issue of media intrusion or even a passionate defense of the role of a free press during an election would be to miss the point.
If what was heard on tape and described by eye-witnesses is accurate, the incident in Bozeman is nothing short of assault. We wouldn't condone it if it happened on the street. We wouldn't condone it if it happened in a home or even a late-night bar fight. And we couldn't accept it from a man who is running to become Montana's lone Congressional representative.Cornell University

Montana has huge early vote. Frankly I'm hoping this guy still wins. It will shine a light if he does and the people on the Hill already will have to answer questions about him.**NOTE: The misleading post above was brought to you by Reynold's Wrap and American Steeples, makers of Crosses.

Unfortunately, Montana does not allow those who voted early to reconsider and vote again. We're one of the few states that does not. This would seem to be the best reason we should urge our state leaders to change that law.CCT '77 & '78

Jackson Jr. was re-elected in 2012 in a landslide even though he was being investigated for using campaign funds for personal use. And then he and his wife were both found guilty after the election.“Demolish the bridges behind you… then there is no choice but to build again.”

From what I've read early voting might favor Quist slightly as Dems take advantage of that more but Republicans tend to clean up on election day with older voters turning out in greater #'s. I can't say if this will matter. It should, but as one GOP operative said, you have to frame this as a liberal media attack because turning out the base is the only strategy he's got.Legally drunk????
