I was trying to be funny.....apparently I failed miserably. The officiating crew tonight deserves the best compliment you can give....."didn't even notice them.". Perhaps we are too quick to judge a post without "seeing the rolling eyes."
Oswego is a good club and could go far this season.

Fair enough. Like I said before, I was not at the game and knew tht I probably didn't have all the information. The way Ducky made it sound, I was mortified that any Ref would make that call, but I suppose Ducky is not ALWAYS right.

The problem with the call was the fact that yes, the goalkeepers throat guard did have an issue, but was STILL attached. It was still connected to the facemask and was not a concern other then trying to halt play. Kind of reminds me of another goaltender trying to stop the pressure by pushing the net off in a playoff game.... 
What I thought was even better was the goal that was called no goal, then :20 seconds later Plattsburgh scored again. |

Doesn't help that they can't keep a coach around.
Saul was only there two years and he was doing some good things. I was very impressed with their freshman class last season and don't forget they beat Oswego at the CC at the end of the season last year too.
It's tough to keep making strides forward when you change head coaches.
