    Elmira picks up another D man ...Liam Burtt 5 ' 11 181lbs Ottawa CCHL,made the yzerman allstar, I guess thats for the CCHL, had 8g and 28assits in 59gp ..21 yo

          Didnt see these on collegecommitment website, but looks like Platty has picked up a few players from the GOJHL,not sure about this league?? Im sure these guys are good or platty wouldnt be getting them...Andrew Smith 6 3" 196lbs 49gp 44g 34a with 164pim, that will NOT flush with the boss....Lukas Balesnta 6 2" 165 51gp 11g 53a 86 pim.....a lot of pen mins they will have to shape up or for sure they will ship out......

            If Conner Bradshaw is like Cullen, we may get a notice from the WIAC that they are pulling out of the NCHA right away.

                  As we know, the difference between tough and dirty is sometimes a fine line. Cards could use more toughness and it looks like these two will push back. That said, one dumb penalty equals one game watching from the stands. That's the rule here.

                        I wonder if Derek Jacobson is related to snc goaltender David Jacobson? Alumni of the same Junior team.

                        Edit : maybe not, if the info is correct Derek is from Iowa and I know David is a Janesville native...

                          Nope...they're not related. There were actually 4 Jacobsons on the Jets team two years ago (two sets of brothers). Derek & Larkin (from Iowa) and David & Aaron (from Janesville)

                                Maybe making reference to the large number of recruits Elmira seems to have for this upcoming year...

                                Another poster asked me the same thing when they saw Elmira had a lot of recruits coming in and then I reminded them EC lost 10 players with many of them being impact top 6 forwards, top D pair type players.

                                EC also has a JV team.
