Considering a large portion of kids in the BCHL that go on to play Division I college hockey in the US, looks like the rich are getting richer with this pickup for SNC.

Re: Incoming Freshmen for Fall of 2012

Looks like the 1st Oswego recruit listed...Denton King from the NJ Hitmen,Dman 6'2" 200 lbs...After googleing..WOW...he went to Avon Old Farms a Top NE prep school and was the 1 or 2 Top Dman there, his partner was a Jr and has commited to Yale and was in the 3rd rd of the NHL mid season draft, King later got suspended from school... KING, Was Also Listed in the NHL Entry Draft,NICE, mid season rankings,6th round 177 .played in the SJHL from 2008-10...Looks like he could be a good one for sure, all the other player in that NHL mid-season draft were D1 guys...at the point of the draft he had not comminted yet.. I would link but Im computer bad..I can google though...ps from Pense, Saskatchewan...pps as we all know all of these D3 commitments are not binding so any of the D3 guys can change their minds at any time, they dont have the D1 comm thing.....ppps also read that he is Gord Kluzaks nephew..

lol... or her bra is filled with toilet paper...on the ECAC West tip, anybody have any thoughts on whether the Utica trip to Europe during the summer hurt or helped them, it MUST HAVE seemed like a loooooong season for them and maybe they were a little tired come the end of the yr?????

Well if this is todays paper than I guess this would trump the Platty move, as I said when these kids commit to D3, there is No rules that they cant change their minds and go somewhere else...

This is the reason why I hate the how many national championships does your conference have argument...

Middlebury, Norwich and St. Norbert have combined to 14 of the last 18 National Championships.

Just because those three teams (Middlebury mainly) have dominated Division III hockey for the better part of the last two decades does not mean your conference is superior to another IMHO.

That article is not from today's paper and looks to be about a year old. I believe that when Providence changed coaches, it dropped Gorman, possibly because he was under sized for D1. . . The Platty commit is probably still good . .
