        That's why I also added the Authoritarian label.

        Considering I'm not for ending private ownership and putting the government in charge of every facet of life, I'd say I'm not to the left of Stalin. Does Cafferty say he wants these things?

        I would argue that Lawrence doesn't fully understand the term. I'm not sure that he's in favor of those things.

        Somewhere along the way, terms lost their meaning. Just because I'm liberal and favor higher taxes does not make me a Socialist, or a Communist. It also doesn't make Obama a Socialist. Just like his anti-gay bigotry doesn't make Rick Santorum a Nazi.

          I guess next time I'll stick with terms like knee-jerk liberal and far left loonball...

          Edit: I guess we'll all have to look back on this discussion the next time someone says "right of Genghis Khan" or something to that effect.

                      Your vaunted balanced budget raised the age for collecting Social Security. Think that matters to rich people? Not even a little. Who does it hurt the worst?                           Baby Boomers are coming into their prime Social Security and Medicare ages. Did they save up for it? No. They blew the entire wad on crap and now the rest of us are going to have to pay their huge medical and retirement bills.

                              That's part of what makes them worthless. They have the largest voting bloc so they have the most power. And they are hell bent on spending every single dime they can and making sure the country is bankrupt before they check out.
