Probably just me over thinking things but there is that chance.
Makes a lot of sense-but I would think he was in a strong bargaining position after last season. The interest was certainly there and he could have had an offer made. Obviously he stayed-I think he will finish out his career in Troy-and for that matter have a great next year.

Melanson had a goal and 2 assists. Don Bosco just could not handle the line of Biacco and Melanson.

BTW-The Delbarton goalie-who is just an incredbile young player-Colton Phinney-has just committed to Princeton. Seems like the Ivies just restock by adding Delbarton players every year. The Delbarton JV team is something like 16-2 this year so it looks like they will not be losing anything for next year.

I found that when I googled, but it wasn't clear to me how many assists Melanson had, so I decided to wait for a box score.

I wasn't there-but some friends were. Delbarton just has so much that they don't always keep the lines set the same. When Melanson plays with Biacco-they just are incredibly hard to deal with for these schools. They have at least 4 NCAA committed players on this time now-but personally I think as many as 6 could be on this team. Their younger layers, albeit smaller of course, will just move up next year and this team will not lose a step. One younger boy-Josh Melnick-bears watching for sure-he does not get nearly the playing time but somehow he finds a way to be in the right spot and is not shy about shooting the puck. Princeton and Yale almost always have somewhere at the games watching and charting. I haven't asked but a number of their other kids are going Division III.
I know I said it before, but I think we have a real potential top notch recruit in Melanson. And he just seems to get better each time we see him.
Take the shortest distance to the puck and arrive in ill humor
