I hated rooting for BU tonight but I did because I thought it was the only chance that Lowell could stay East. But with Maine looking like they're going to the Finals tomorrow, I think we're heading west.

Maine wins 5-3. Maine's win also keeps Merrimack's slim hopes alive.

Well, according to Jim Dahl's blog Lowell will almost certainly be a 3 seed. There is a miniscule possibility of being a 2-seed (0.7% chance of finishing 8th), and zero chance of being a 4 seed.

    Mass.-Lowell
    8 0.7%
    9 4.5%
    10 8.0%

Yeah, in most of the scenarios, I have us at 12th. Here's a thought, if the Goof-ers also remain a three seed, the only place we can go West is GRB.

Disrespect by NESN toward UML in pregame show as UML's turnaround from last to 2nd this year isn't one of their top five season memories.

Ouch I'd be ticked if I was a Merrimack fan! Consolation games are bogus, shouldn't count towards the pwr.

I'm going to suspect that Merrimack was out even if the game hadn't been played... I'll check tomorrow
