Three points on a trip to Oxford is pretty good. Six is unbelievable! At least Rico can take heart that after next season he will be in his new elite league and won't have to play the "dregs" of the CCHA like LSSU and Ferris (gee, where did those 12 points go?).
McParland keeps on being the man and sounded like a terrific weekend by Kaplaka, also. Sounds like everyone played pretty well. Let's get out next weekend to watch them play the Beavers.
As someone already mentioned, after losing or tying many close games in the past few years, it is great to see us scoring that big elusive goal. The heat was on tonight bigtime in the third and Monardo put it away with the breakaway. Great to hear.Comment

I still can't believe that save Kapalka made in the final minute diving across crease. That was probably the best save he has made since taking over the job last year.Comment
