Pickett potted both goals in Northeastern's 2-1 victory over Union on Friday, and assisted Kendall Coyne's tally in the Huskies' 3-1 triumph over Quinnipiac.

#9 Taylor Wasylk, BOSTON COLLEGE
(Sophomore Forward; Port Huron, Mich.)
Wasylk registered three points (1g,2a) in a 5-0 win over New Hampshire on Saturday with five shots on goal and a +1 plus/minus rating. The forward's power play goal two minutes into the second period of proved to be the game-winner.

#8 Kayla Tutino, BOSTON UNIVERSITY
(Freshman Forward; Lorraine, Quebec)
Tutino notched her first career hat-trick, including a shorthanded goal, to help guide BU to a 6-2 win over Union on Saturday. She recorded six shots on goal and a +2 rating the the victory for the Terriers.
WHEA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#33 Jenn Gilligan, NEW HAMPSHIRE
(Freshman Goaltender; Maple Ridge, B.C.)
Gilligan recorded a season-high 24 saves (.960 save%) to backbone UNH to a 1-1 tie against fifth-ranked BC last Friday at the Whittemore Center. Stopped all three shots in OT and held the Eagles scoreless on four power-play opportunities, including one in the extra session.
WHEA TEAM OF THE WEEK
BOSTON COLLEGE EAGLES
The Eagles opened league play undeafeated with a tie (1-1) and a win (5-0) over the weekend against New Hampshire. BC's penalty kill was a perfect 6-for-6 in the two-game set. The Eagles outshot UNH, 35-16, in game two on Saturday at Conte Forum.

Very well put, I couldn't agree with you more, with the obvious exception of switching Huskies for eagles. Funny that the hack came up this weekend.BU is garbage.

I picked them because I do think they have talent - despite injuries to top forwards Jr Anderson and Sr Cottrell.
In both Saturday and Sunday PC stormed Mercyhurst for most the first period - then Mercyhurst cut loose. Mercyhurst was impressive to me great flow in offensive zone which created both offensive zone control and lots of shots - they were both patient and disciplined. They have good size and speed. In the defensive zone they did not allow many good scoring chances.
PC has now played Bemidji series with 1 goal; Clarkson 0, St Lawrence 3 and Mercyhurst series 0 - totally surprising with 7 of 8 leading scorers returning and some good freshman. I hope that slow start and goal scoring challenge ends at Vermont!
