IIRC in 2008-09, he didn't get much playing time, and then played out of his mind in the playoffs. Anything can happen.

Maybe he just wanted to introduce himself to Brad Tapper?

Speaking of Brad-who already has 3 boys (who have probably been on skates since they came home from the hospital)-brother Bryan just welcomed his third child yesterday (now also has 3 boys). Looks like these 2 are forming their own hockey team for us in about 14-16 years from now. Not sure which one will be the goalie yet.

One thing that wouldn't surprise me is if he sees a lot of time on the PK, as that's where it seems many of the RPI alums in the AHL see time (aside from maybe Pirri and D'Amigo, although I've only seen the latter play in the AHL).

Bruuuut still looking for that 1st point in the "A" but he did register his first 2 shots and had another plus 1 (making him a +3 in 5 games) http://theahl.com/stats/official-gam..............BTW, Patty Cullen picked up 1a in tonight's SC 5-2 loss & was on the starting line once again http://echl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=9458

Maybe that will give the Blue Jackets the confidence to give him a start.
Nice to hear that he had such a good period. It should help his self confidence.

Save percentage of 1.00 usually gets you noticed even if it is only for one period. If he does not get the next start-someone on that coaching staff needs electo shock therapy.
