guess he won't be renewing acquaintances with JD'A tonight...good for Brandon for his re-call
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

He has been playing well, maybe he can make it stick this time.
      Good Luck Brandon

interesting, Legace started for Springfield & left after 2 periods with a 5-1 lead. Allen York played the 3rd, gave up an early goal & a late goal in the 6-3 win http://theahl.com/stats/official-gam...ame_id=1009078

from the Springfield site; Falcons goaltender Manny Legace started the game and stopped 14 of 15 shots through 40 minutes of play. Allen York played the third period for Springfield and completed the win for Legace and the Falcons.

"Manny had a collision in the second period and was feeling it a little bit at the start of the third," said Riley. "Yorkie was ready to go, I don't see any long-term effects, we have four days off now and it looks like Manny (Legace) will be ready to go after the break."

Serves me right for turning the game off with 2 minutes to play... it sounded like his second shot was a pretty good opportunity in the 3rd.

neither Rockford or Chicago plays again till 12/26. With Carcillo & Krueger still out for the Blackhawks I wonder if we'll see Pirri re-called Monday.

not too late, it's on NHL Network (encore) right now.

HF writeup on minor league prospects including JD'a http://www.hockeysfuture.com/article...rleague_level/.

                                Jerry D'Amigo, LW, 20

After spending a chunk of his season with the Marlies, just to be sent to Kitchener (OHL) in the New Year, D'Amigo has played with more confidence this season. He's received great praise from Head Coach Dallas Eakins due to his ability to adjust to any role he's assigned to, and make those around him better. Not only has D'Amigo provided strong supporting offense, but he's been one of the team's strongest two-way players due to his skating and work ethic. As mentioned above, D'Amigo has been all over the lineup, and has continued to play a consistent hard-working game. He has already surpassed his point totals from all of last season in only 26 games (he played in 43 last season). He has seven goals, 10 assists, and a plus-four through 30 games.
