This article http://theahl.com/life-long-love-of-...-pirri-p168024 about Brandon Pirri is almost a year old, but i don't recall seeing it. The previous thread has been purged, so I can't go back to last December to check.

Brando Pirri with the Hat Trick tonight http://theahl.com/stats/official-gam...ame_id=1008900 Considering the article Ralph posted above, last year after 21 games BP had 21GP..5g...4a...9pts....after 17 games this year http://www.icehogs.com/team/stats/
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

Pirri had two more goals last night, in a game in which he went of against Polacek.
          Unfortunately, Polacek came up empty.

Neil Little scheduled as one of the goalies for the Flyers in the Ranger/Flyer alumni game.

Does this count as another NHL appearance for Little?

Tyler Helfrich and Erik Burgdoerfer both in the lineup for Bakersfield tonight, Helfrich starting. http://echl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=8957

Polacek scratched for Peoria, who lost 5-3 to the Chicago Wolves.

he'll miss the paycheck but he'll get the work that's needed.

From Rockford's coach on the 22nd, so it doesn't include his latest exploits http://www.dailyherald.com/article/2...rts/711229941/
C Brandon Pirri: “He’s been good in the last three or four games. He has the offensive ability, good instincts, sees the ice well. We’re just trying to make him into a two-way hockey player where he also is good away from the puck defensively in his own end. All those things we’re working on so that when he does get to the NHL he’s ready to go at both ends of the rink.”

Yup-no question he can score and be the offensive threat at any level. The other aspects of his game though may be what hold him back. I still think that 2 more years of NCAA play would have allowed him plenty of time to work on that while being a noticeable force in the college ranks.

At least he is in the NHL conversation. D'Amigo still has a way to go before he even gets in that conversation.
They both would have been better served to spend one more year in Troy. JMO

No doubt. I do wonder if in the case of Pirri, this all was in his father's master plan to avoid the OHL.

Brutlag had a goal and a +1 last night.
5 goals and 8 points in 21 games.

I always liked him at RPI, but I didn't think he would contribute that kind of offense at the next level.
                                Good for him.
