Kind of figured. Didn't think 2 vs. 5 was something you could challenge.

RPI gets four points for the weekend. And still in first place.

Great weekend sweep. A little nervous third period for us brought back some memories of how we played last year. But we held on and come out of this weekend with some drive and energy for next weekend. Nice to have a weekend sweep after all this time.

Coach is probably going to have some words about that. Maybe some conditioning exercises, since we seem to have problems playing hard the full 60.

Capital Skates, yes. Mayor's Cup, no, as that's a trophy game by itself.

    Last year no.
16-17 Jared Wilson had a major but no toss.
15-16 Viktor Liljegren had a major but no toss, obviously with Bubela's Hawaii goal. Numerous misconducts of the 10 minute type.
    14-15 no.
    13-14 no.
12-13 Luke Curadi and CJ Lee BOTH got tossed. A few other misconducts.

Not going to go back any further, unless you REALLY want me to.

He paraphrased it in the postgame. Asked the boys how they wanted to play. Pointed to Hayhurst and said, "You want to play like him?" Or do you want to play the way you have?

Faceoff numbers went in the tank in the 3rd, 17-7. Shots 17-4 in Union's favor. Basically lost control of the game. Enjoy the win tonight, but tomorrow and the week ahead is going to be interesting practice wise.
