From a pure entertainment standpoint that was a fantastic game to attend, somehow the charm of watching a game from the balcony at Matthews is still as fun as the first time I did it when I was 9

Inexperience burnt Lowell tonight when the game was on the line. Nice to see the PP going and Lohin establishing his sure hand. Maybe it was the bigger ice but they had a very nice flow to the game, but at the end of the night it wasn't enough

I made a promise this year to not call anyone out by name on this team. They are kids, they make mistakes, it is what makes the college game a better product than a professional game imo

That being said we are in desperate need of legitimate top defensive pairing. I know that Dylan Zink, Mike Kapla, Ed Campell, and Mike Nicholishin don't grow on trees. But this needs to be a priority with the coaching staff in terms of recruiting and development.

This Merrimack-Bemidji State series is technically reciprocation trip for a tournament Merrimack and Lowell are hosting together starting next season. Bemidji will play at UML and at MC.

It will work like a tournament with pre-determined games first and second rounds (total points). Merrimack and Lowell will host two games.

The play by play guy for Merrimack replied to Mike and let him know that Bemidji won't be participating in this new tournament until the 20-21 season.

I'm assuming this will be a holiday tournament and I love this news. I always thought the 6 week break between home games was a little too long. I'm happy we have the Denver game this season, and potentially more NC home games in the future.
