So, the all-day private tour of Moscow was ****ing awesome. $150 and I got a personal, tour for 8 hours, explaining the history, and telling crazy rumors, from medieval times and imperial times and soviet times. It covered history, architecture, art, politics, everything. Cannot recommend enough. Russia's Armory (like, their Crown Jewels)....ho-ly ****. Bibles made from 3 pounds of pure gold, like, 30 of them. Armor with several hundred diamonds, the most intricate fine metal work I've ever seen, and rooms of it. The most comprehensive collection of silver pieces in the world. That place has to be worth billions.

Edit: oh, and 10, 10!, Faberge eggs. ****ing insane.

I am very jealous of that tour. As some of you know, I really dig Russian history/culture because it is/was closed off for so many years.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

As much as things are returning to normal after the earthquake, most of the roads are fixed, workplaces are opening back up etc., I got woken up last night by an aftershock around 4am (I get up at 5). It was only a 4.7, something that normally wouldn’t wake me up. At least my daughter slept through it.

Evening, Lodge. Work has been hell this week, dunno where all the business is coming from. One more day before a 4-day weekend, though. Yay!

Related: already sick of Ice Melt Season. In the past week, probably have hand-loaded over 500 50lb boxes, and forklifted a dozen 40-box pallets.
